Inside Tom
"Trying to Balance Life and Love"
The abridged version: The man is
sitting on his barrel of life, and he
is attempting to keep his balance.
There is a perpetual storm inside
his barrel. In his right hand he
holds Pandora's Box. It has been
opened to the temptations he
carries within him. For each man
these temptations are different. In
the other hand he tries to control
his love life. He can only give half
of his heart to each side.
Moreover, the devil keeps his hand
on the man's crouch at all times.
This represents sin and the lust
with him. In his left ear an angel
lectures him while God's light
radiates, exposing his sin. This
constant balancing act plagues his
mind, which is represented by the
pins in his head. The splatters
signify the daily chaos of keeping a
balanced life.
